Hey you. Sunday morning here in Vermont, and I’ve been thinking about the little signals we give to show someone we care. A laugh at their joke, a quick text, a string of emojis. That’s what The Bright Side is about too: small signals that cut through the noise. And today, we’d love one from you.

How do you know if someone (really) likes you?

Do they smile before you talk?
Maybe they flip their hair and look away.
Or they laugh at your jokes when they fall flat.

It’s an eternal mystery. And honestly? Instead of guessing, sometimes you just have to ask.

Backstory: this newsletter started as a small experiment. One email here, one story there. Now, thousands of you are reading each week. Which is wild. But we’re still a tiny, scrappy team and I write this because the world needs more wholeness, resilience and a lotta joy.
