Looking for the bright side?

Looking for the bright side?

Hello lovely people. You’re reading The Bright Side newsletter, a bi-weekly dose of calm and clarity in a noisy world.

Today I come to you like Oliver Twist, hat-in-hand asking for a favor.

The finicky email gods are currently making it difficult for our emails to reach the inboxes of those who signed up (if you see this newsletter only showing up periodically, that’s why). And we need your help to curry their favor.

If you haven’t already—pls star this email/add The Bright Side to your contacts.

Gmail users:
- On mobile: In the top right corner of the app hit those 3 dots, click “Move to” then “Primary.”

- On desktop: Back out of this email then drag and drop this email into the “Primary” tab near the top left of your screen.

Apple mail users:
- Simply tap on our email address at the top of this email and “Add to VIPs”

Everyone else: Here are some simple instructions for each mailbox provider.

That is all. Thank you🙏.

And now on to the good stuff.

Ever feel like you’ve got *too* many options?

I was standing in front of a wall of tomato sauces in the grocery store and it hit me.

This is your life (and mine) in 2025. So many options. And so little time.

The never-ending aisle of tomato sauces represents:

Choosing your career. A partner. Netflix movie. What to do on a Saturday.

So, what happens?

We stand there dreaming about the perfect sauce…for the perfect dinner, for the perfect…Only to miss out on real life.

You know that life, right? Yep, it’s imperfect. Messy. Some amazing ‘highs’ and tough ‘lows.’

But guess what?

It’s (way) better than putting your life on pause for some fantasy in the future. So, the lesson from this insight?

This week, I invite you to pick a sauce. Any sauce. And spend less time stressing and more time relaxing with a simple bowl of pasta.

Wherever you are, whatever you're up to, hoping life is good.☺️
